Our PhiLips course is a comprehensive training program that combines in-person learning, practice, and live-model training with online practice, learning, and technique coaching with up to 6 months of online support. You will be instructed by Utah’s top Master of Permanent Makeup (PMU), Jamie Wood, where she will guide you through a structured series of lessons that comprehensively address the essential facets of the PhiLips technique. Upon completion of this course, and continual practice of the concepts, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills that can propel you to success in this field of permanent makeup (PMU).

This PhiLips course, and Permanent Makeup (PMU) in general, can provide financial security and a flexible work schedule, giving you the opportunity to choose when and how much you want to work. The PhiLips course is designed in a way that everyone can understand, including those with no previous knowledge about skin, beauty, and brows. Among PhiLips Artists, only a small number come from the beauty industry: PhiLips Artists are housewives, lawyers, jurists, medics, and many others who did not have previous experience in the beauty industry. As an example, Master Jamie was a lawyer in Peru.

PhiLips is a technique which involves using a hand-held machine to implant pigment into the upper layer of the skin. You use this technique to make your clients lips look fuller, more more natural, or covered with lipstick.

The online portion of our course spans up to 6 months which allows sufficient time to thoroughly engage with the content, refine this technique, and build the confidence needed to proficiently create PhiLips. At the end of the course, students will complete a certification process, affirming their mastery of the PhiLips technique and enhancing their credibility in this profession.
