What is Powder Brows?
THE TECHNIQUE
Powder Brows, also known as Ombre Powder Brows, is a gentle eyebrow shading technique that enhances the natural shape of the eyebrows. In contrast to PhiBrows Microblading, which involves drawing individual hairs, the PowderBrows technique employs numerous small dots to achieve a gentle, powder-like appearance.
WHAT IS THE Powder Brows COURSE?
Our Powder Brows course is a comprehensive training program that combines in-person learning, practice, and live-model training with online practice, learning, and technique coaching with up to 6 months of online support. You will be instructed by Utah’s top Master of Permanent Makeup (PMU), Jamie Wood, where she will guide you through a structured series of lessons that comprehensively address the essential facets of the Powder Brows technique. Upon completion of this course, and continual practice of the concepts, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills that can propel you to success in this field of permanent makeup (PMU).
This Powder Brows course, and Permanent Makeup (PMU) in general, can provide financial security and a flexible work schedule, giving you the opportunity to choose when and how much you want to work. The Powder Brows course is designed in a way that everyone can understand, including those with no previous knowledge about skin, beauty, and brows. Among PowderBrows Artists, only a small number come from the beauty industry: PowderBrows Artists are housewives, lawyers, jurists, medics, and many others who did not have previous experience in the beauty industry. As an example, Master Jamie was as a lawyer in Peru.
Powder Brows is a technique which involves using a hand-held machine to implant pigment into the upper layer of the skin. Also known as Ombré Powder Brows, you use this technique make your clients eyebrows look like they are shaded with makeup. With this technique, you will create a natural-looking powdery finish with a gradual light-to-dark color transition from the head of the brows to the tail.
The online portion of our course spans up to 6 months which allows sufficient time to thoroughly engage with the content, refine this technique, and build the confidence needed to proficiently create PowderBrows. At the end of the course, students will complete a certification process, affirming their mastery of the Powder Brows technique and enhancing their credibility in this profession.

Powder Brows CERTIFICATION
After completing the live training, all participants receive a certificate of attendance. After completing all of the levels online (in the CraftsMaster app on the iPhone or Android), you will receive the Powder Brows Artist Certificate, and be placed on the map of Artists on the official Phi Academy website!
